Rolando Minuti

Born in 1953, a pupil then researcher at the Scuola Normale Superiore of Pisa, Minuti is presently professor of modern history at the University of Florence. His current research is on historical European literature from the 17th to the 19th centuries, the problem of Asiatic diversity, the work of Montesquieu, Voltaire, Gibbon and other Enlightenment authors. He has also for several years been working on relations between uses of the Internet and historical research.
