Pierre Musitelli, graduate of the École normale supérieure de Lettres et sciences humaines (Lyon), agrégé and PhD in Italian, teaches at the École normale supérieure de la rue d’Ulm (Paris). The author of a thesis on Alessandro Verri (1741-1816) to be published by the École française de Rome in 2013, he works on encyclopedism and the Enlightenment in Italy, as well as on Italian literary historiography in the eighteenth century.
