Philippe Audegean, graduate of the École normale supérieure de Fontenay/Saint-Cloud, agrégé and Ph.D. in philosophy, is assistant professor at the Université Sorbonne Nouvelle – Paris 3.
The author of a study of the work of Cesare Beccaria (La philosophie de Beccaria: savoir punir, savoir écrire, savoir produire, Paris: Vrin, 2010), he has also published a bilingual edition with notes and commentary of Des délits et des peines.
