Nicole Masson is a former professor at the faculty of Letters and Languages in Poitiers and member of the FoReLL team (EA 3816). A specialist on Voltaire, the history of the book and 18th-century poetry, she is the author, notably, of La Poésie fugitive au XVIIIe siècle (Champion, 2002), and was president of the Société Rétif de La Bretonne.
