Lecturer at the University of Lorraine in Metz, Diego Venturino is a specialist of noble ideology of the 17th and 18th centuries (Boulainvilliers, Saint-Simon, Montesquieu), as well as the history of historiography of the modern period and its extensions in the 19th century (Dubos, Voltaire, particularly Le Siècle de Louis XIV, the positivist school).
